About this site

My husband and I migrated to the Netherlands in 1983. It was like starting all over again from grade one, not being able to understand and speak the Dutch language. Now, I have a full time career which I combine with my family life. We have two daughters. I finished a master's degree, a combination of child and youth psychology and cross-cultural psychology. I have two jobs which I like very much and I am also active in the local politics, as a city councilor, in the city where I live. What I'm trying to say is "It doesn't matter in which situation you come from. If you put your mind to it, you will get to where you want to be."

I really love my job. But I want more! I want to have more freedom - being able to do what I want to do, when I want to do it, and being there where I want to be. I just therefore opened a new and exciting chapter of my life - my quest for freedom. And I want to share this with you, to all of you out there who want to get more out of your life. For after all, our life is a God-given gift and the best way to thank God for our life is to cultivate it and become all that we can become in this journey called life.
